Engaging (Recording)

On April 24, we conducted a group exploration of what it feels like to live with the current level of upheaval and uncertainty that exists in the world.

In this exploration, we were containing the urge to talk about the issues themselves and paying attention to our bodily sensations and felt experience. In doing so, we wanted to allow for the possibility of something big emerging out of paying attention to the subtleties of our embodied experience.

This group process was based on the Proactive Mindfulness approach developed by Merete Holm Brantbjerg and Serge Prengel, based on Merete’s pioneering work in Relational Trauma Therapy.

To respect the privacy of this experiential process, the following video is an edited recording that does not include what participants said.

We invite you to watch it actively, i.e.:
– follow the instructions when some body movements are described in the earlier parts of the video,
– when a question is asked, pause the video to reflect on it before listening to what follows.
