Dark night of the soul


There are moments in life where nothing seems to make sense any more. It is as if the very foundations of life as we know it have collapsed. There's a tremendous sense of loneliness, of despair... so intense that it would feel trivial to just call it "depression". From that place, it feels impossible to ever experience hope again.
